National Media appear to be having a field day in respect of house prices and their comments over the past few weeks such as “why Britain’s falling house prices may not bounce back quickly” and “why house prices are in real danger”, do little to inspire confidence. Obviously the present economic climate does make some people nervous but there is always a market. Bluntly, the National Media are a long way away from the ‘sharp end’ of the actual residential market place in somewhere such as Crowborough. We have found increasing activity over the past month or so and we are agreeing sales, albeit generally at between 7 – 10% less than we would have achieved at the peak of the market a year ago.
